The Freudenberg company Corteco won the prestigious award "Brand of the Year" during this year's Automotive Trade Fair MIMS (Moscow International Motor Show) in Moscow. Industry experts and drivers choose the "Brand of the Year" as part of a Russian Transportation Ministry project. "In the Russian market, the award has been considered extremely important for years", said Reiner Martsfeld, Corteco's chief commercial officer. Previous award winners have included many well-known companies, such as the Schaeffler Group, Bridgestone, ContiTech, Bosch and many more.
Meeting place for the International Automotive Industry
MIMS is considered to be the most important trade fair for the automotive industry in Russia. It was held for the 18th time in 2014 – for four years in cooperation with Automechanika, the World's Leading trade fair for the industry sector. During four days, manufacturer, supplier, service provider and customers from the independent aftermarket (IAM) meet in Moscow. They are presenting a wide range of spare parts, components and repairing equipment. The exhibition space has more than doubled since last year. In 2014, more than 1,000 companies from 34 countries occupied five exhibition halls in Moscow's Expocenter.

Corteco is present in Moscow with a sales office. The Freudenberg Company already declared Russia to be a strategic market in 2005. Corteco supplies more than 19,000 products in den fields of Vibration Control, Sealing and Cabin Air Filtration.
